
Morning Glory Burgers
LaBelle Patrimoine’s ground chicken is a combo of white and dark meat, and it makes for an incredibly flavorful burger. Thanks to the egg, bacon, and chicken, it’s a burger that feels like breakfast.

Ingredients
- For the burgers
- 1 pound LaBelle Patrimoine ground chicken
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil (for grill pan or grill)
- For the lemon-herb mayo
- ⅓ cup Kewpie or other mayo
- Juice of ½ lemon
- For assembly
- 4 slices bacon cooked
- Sliced cheddar or Gouda cheese
- 4 eggs fried over easy
- 4 brioche buns
- Lettuce tomato, sliced red onion
- Avocado sliced, optional
Notes
In a large bowl, combine the chicken, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Form into patties and set aside. (You can refrigerate at this point, covered, if desired.)
Heat your grill to medium or your grill pan to medium-high. Add a little bit of oil to the pan, if using.
While that is heating, start to cook the bacon in a skillet. Set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
Add the chicken burgers to the grill or grill pan and cook, turning once. Add the cheese, if using, and cover to melt. Cook the burgers until the center registers 165°F on an instant-read thermometer. Remove from heat and set aside.
